Tomya Watt

Tomya Watt is the Chief People Officer at AMN Healthcare, where she leads human resources and enables the company’s culture. Ms. Watt is responsible for maintaining AMN’s long-standing tradition of fostering an environment where all individuals are respected, valued, and empowered to reach their fullest potential. 

Ms. Watt brings extensive experience as a human resources executive within the healthcare industry and has a proven track record of cultivating a culture of inclusion and belonging as the foundation of a high-performing organization.

Previously, Ms. Watt held senior leadership positions at Kelly Services, Inc. and Comerica Bank. Most recently, she served as interim Chief Human Resources Officer and Chief Diversity Officer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During her 15 years at Memorial Sloan Kettering, where she held a variety of senior-level positions, she championed innovative strategies to enhance employee engagement and optimized the talent acquisition process to enhance patient experiences.

Ms. Watt holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Spelman College and an MBA from Howard University.
